A Credit Report is a summary of how a business has handled their credit accounts. It includes information on the types of accounts held and payment history of the business.

A Credit Report is used to ensure the right decision is being made, without risk of engaging in business with a company that has bad debts.

A credit report includes:

  • Personal details including name, gender, current and previous residential addresses, date of birth.
  • Bankruptcies (if applicable)
  • Businesses owned (if applicable)
  • Credit applications made in the last five years (if applicable)
  • Payment defaults where a bill has not been paid or and is more than 60 days overdue
  • Overdue accounts where the credit provider has not been able to locate you to request payment
  • Amount of credit inquiries (if applicable)

Through triSearch you have access to CreditorWatch who perform the business credit checks. There reports combine data from multiple sources including the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the Australian Business Register (ABR), Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA), Australian Courts, mercantile agents (debt collectors) and information captured from our extensive database of users.
