PPSR Search

The Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) is a national online register. By conducting a PPSR search you can find out if an individual or company has a securities interest attached to their personal property.

The types of PPSR Searches available are:

  • Organisational Grantor: This search allows you to identify if there is any registered interest in an organisation’s assets.  Organisations include, companies, bodies corporate, a partner in a partnership with an Australian Business Number (ABN), bodies politic and a trustee of a trust with an ABN.
  • Individual Grantor: This search allows you to identify if there are security interests registered against an individual’s personal property. 
  • Motor Vehicle: This search identities if there is any money owning on a vehicle.
  • Watercraft: Also known as a boat search, it identifies if there is any security interest registered against the watercraft.
  • Aircraft: This search allows you to identify if there are security interests registered against an aircraft. 
  • Intellectual Property: This search allows you to identify if there are security interests registered against an IP.
  • Registration: This search shows the history of a PPSR registration.
  • Ordinal: This search shows all registration events. These events include when it was first created, if it’s changed or if a new one has been created.
