The Australian Registrars’ National Electronic Conveyancing Council (ARNECC) has published Version 7 of the Model Operating Requirements (MORs) and the Model Participation Rules – ARNECC (MPRs).

Version 7 (adopting the Model versions) will take effect on and from 28 March 2024:

On and from that date, Subscribers must use the updated Client Authorisation Version 7.

To assist Subscribers, ARNECC is publishing a standalone Client Authorisation Version 7. Please monitor the ARNECC Forms webpage.

Key changes

Key changes between Version 6 and Version 7 of the Model Participation Rules include, but are not limited to:

  • provisions relating to Interoperability (see 2.1.2, and the Client Authorisation Version 7 in Schedule 4)
  • amendments acknowledging that a Person may be a Subscriber to more than one ELN (see 5.5.2(c), 7.3, 7.8, 7.9, 10(b))
